Pour l'amour du fil

What could be better than France in April? How about an International Show on the Arts of Thread in France in April? Wow, that's a mouthful!

I am so excited to be a part of this fantastic show. Truly a dream come true. For ticket information you can go to www.pourlamourdufil.com. In addition to the show there are many beautiful sites to see in Nantes which is situated in the Loire Valley and only 30 minutes or so from the Atlantic coast. Follow the show with a trip into Paris, only a two hour train ride.
I will have a "house" in the show with the quilts from the new book and I will be doing book signings and a couple of lectures. I am also teaching classes on Thursday and Friday.
This is Heartstrings. It's the piece I am teaching for needle turn applique. Note that the bottom right bloom is missing a leaf. The leaf has been added. Too fast with the photo.
And this is Spring Blooms. This is the piece for the wool class. It is wool applique on Cottonworks.
Kits are provided for both classes.
Who's going to the show??
Happy Quilting, Dawn
